Jersey Girl

Everytime I hear this song I am instantly transport to Seaside Heights or Pt. Pleasant, New Jersey. The sounds of the surf and the rides, with the lights and smells of popcorn. You can go all over the world and stay at the ritziest places on earth, but there is nothing like the Jersey shore in the summer.

I keep thinking back to a time when I had just received my first car. Where I come from the first thing to do was to drive down to Seaside and cruise Ocean Terrace. All the boys and girls, in their shiny cars, out to impress each other. Things were so much simpler then. At least they were for me.
